Part of the Kuilfontein Portfolio, The Paddocks is a natural extension of the Southey’s Colesberg family farm! Stunning views of Karoo landscape from your patio, solitude and peace of mind, this converted barn provides excellent accommodation and living space with self-catering facilities.
ACCOMMODATION
Four gorgeous family units each consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely big living room with kitchenette and individual patios with braai facilities. There is also a smaller unit for people on a tighter budget with the same self-catering option.
We can provide you with delicious home-made meals or braai packs of meat, firelighters and wood and season salads or vegetables from the garden. Our menus change accordingly.

“We chose this facility because it is pet-friendly.
The self-catering accommodation was more than adequate, so comfortable and very clean. We were able to pre-order microwave meals, which was so important because, having a nervous and confused cat, we couldn’t leave our cottage except to sit outside. Such a calming view. You can also take a dip in the pool to refresh after hours in the car. It’s a great halfway stop when travelling to the Cape from Joburg.
